Bayside Middle School Roof & Envelope Upgrade

This project for School District No. 63 (Saanich) involves a full replacement of the existing roof systems and skylights at Bayside Middle School. The total new metal roofing area affected is approximately 90,000 ft2. The new roofing scope also includes the following:

• New standing seam metal roof assembly, including new insulation, to replace all existing sloped metal roofing and sloped SBS membranes
• New Tremco roof membrane and insulation to all flat roof areas
• New gutter system comprised of custom metal fascia-mounted (external) gutters with new rainwater leaders connecting to existing school storm water piping.
• New fascias and wall cladding and interface flashings above all roof planes
• New fall restraint on all new metal roofs
• New skylights and clerestory windows to comply with BCBC and RCABC requirements
